Top 5 Beauty Products of ALL Time

For anyone beginning their adventure into makeup, these are the products I would recommend that are essentials for any makeup bag (or wish list). Not everyone will agree on this, personally these five products are ones I’ve used or dreamed about having and I hope everyone can just appreciate the beauty that is, well… beauty.

First is, foundation. Liquid foundation makes everything better, even on the worst days you can always turn to foundation. Some of my recommendations for foundation are NARS Tinted Moisturizer, Kat Von D’s Lock It foundation and Urban Decay’s Naked Skin OR All Nighter. These foundations have always proved to me that no matter how bad my skin looks; I can make it look 10 times better with a swift application of one of these products. Although these foundations are on the pricey side – they are definitely worth the extra $$.

Second, is mascara. This may seem like a simple thing to everyone but it is one of the top beauty products of all time… How many little girls started out with just their mom’s mascara or how many eyeshadow looks can you make look better with a hint of mascara? All of them. Mascara is an essential beauty product that shouldn’t go unnoticed and here are a few recommendations for giving your lashes the perfect boost. Too Faced’s Better Than Sex, Maybelline’s Volum’ Express Push Up Drama Mascara, M.A.C False Lashes, Benefit They’re Real Mascara and Urban Decay Perversion Mascara.

The third product is a bit smaller, a beauty blender. I started using a beauty blender two years ago and it changed the way I apply makeup. While brushes leave your face full of streaks, beauty blenders are cheaper and easier to apply all over your face. My recommendations for these are: M.A.C All blending sponge, Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge and Quo Blending Sponge.

Fourth, is contouring and I recently got into this, as much as I love it… it’s not the simplest product to apply, especially if you know next to nothing about makeup like I do. The products I would recommend for anyone, even beginners like me are: Kat Von D Shade + Light Contour Palette, Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Kit, Smashbox Step-by-Step Contour Kit and Smashbox #SHAPEMTTERS Palette.

The fifth and FINAL product that I consider a top beauty product is… Eyeshadow palettes. Honestly, if you have one, you can make millions of different looks… All with 12 or so eyeshadows. My recommendations are every single Urban Decay palette, Too Faced Sweet Peach, Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance Palette, Tarte Tartelette Amazonian Clay Matte Palette and Too Faced The Chocolate Bar.

I hope these products help you on your journey towards an amazing face as I know they’ve all helped me… or will help me in the future. If you have other recommendations or suggestions on makeup I should try, comment below! Can’t wait to hear from you!

Below are where you can find all the products I mentioned:
